Composer, songwriter, music producer, and performer Angela Sheik has been featured and interviewed on NPR, PRI, BMI Indie Spotlight, and Voice of the Nation. Her work as a performer and recording artist has been recognized by various national and regional awards including the 2022 HMMA's and the 2nd Annual BOSS International Loop Championship. She's captivated listeners throughout the US and Europe and has opened for national acts including Meshell N'Degeocel   lo, Joseph Arthur, Julia Holter, and Midge Ure. Numerous music blogs have praised her work ( Pancakes&Whiskey, Vents, Indie Music Digest nominated for "Album Of The Year" ) .

On screen, Angela's work can be heard in a variety of films, ads, documentaries, and TV shows. These include Toyota and ADIDAS ad campaigns, feature films Landing Up (Amazon) and Single All The Way (Netflix), and streaming series such as "Face's Music Party" (Nickelodeon), "All American" (CW), and Showtime's "Shameless" to name a few.

Sheik has toured, spoken, taught, and lead workshops nationally and internationally, and is a passionate advocate and educator of women and young professionals trying to find their way in the music industry.

As a composer, producer, and creator of custom music, Angela loves working to an assignment and a tight deadline. She's known to write, record, produce, and mix a new song in <48 hours. Currently based in Los Angeles, she regularly visits and performs on the east coast.
