She has been recognized by various awards including a 2022 Hollywood Music and Media Awards (HMMA's) nomination, twice-voted Philadelphia's Artist of the Year (WSTW Homey Awards), and Philadelphia Songwriter Awards winner. Sheik holds the impressive US Champion title for the BOSS/Roland International Loop Championship.

Opening act for legends such as Meshell N'Degeocello, Joseph Arthur, Julia Holter, and Midge Ure, Angela's album "Home Before Dark" was nominated for "Album Of The Year"  by Indie Music Digest.
